Connecting With Kids - Where They Are.Mental health issues affect 1 in 4 young people (ages 12-25) and with the rapid pace at which technology - particularly gaming - has grown, there are significant concerns around the negative health effects, behavioural impact and risk of addiction associated with screen time.
Research shows that when used safely, video games can actually provide benefit to players.
Playing It SafeOur program creates different resources for young people that are accessible to them. This includes a face-to-face workshop, handouts and online information they can share. Each are delivered by our expert team and can meet kids where they are - schools, community centres, and more.
1. Educate young people about how to use video games safely.
2. Raise awareness of Online Gaming Addiction in the community.
Learn how games can be fun and beneficial without letting them affect you negatively.
