We are thrilled to announce the launch of our new Kickstarter campaign “The CheckPoint Series”!
By pledging, you will help to create a 16-episode webseries looking at Mental Health and the Power of Video Games. If fully funded, the webseries will be divided into two seasons, and will launch in December this year. Season One is a focus on Mental Health Essentials, and will cover vital education about mental illness such as Depression, Anxiety, and Addiction, and will include interviews with special guests who have lived experience (developers, content creators, and more). Season Two is a focus on using Games for Good, and will cover important research about the benefits of video games, examine the psychology of video game heroes, and also discuss the representation of mental illness in video games. Our 30-day campaign aims to raise AUD$55,000, and has some really amazing backer rewards.
